Australia Cricket announced their 17-man squad for The Ashes 2019.

Australia squad for The Ashes 2019: Australian Cricket Board which is also known as Cricket Australia has announced Australia’s 17-man squad for The Ashes held in England. The Ashes is going to start from tomorrow i.e. August 1. The match between Australia and England is to be played at Edgbaston cricket ground. Team Australia has won more series as compared to Team England in The Ashes. The team has won 33 series whereas England won 32 series out of 70 series. Therefore, Australia is one point forward as compared to England.

The Uncapped player, “Michael Neser” the Australian quick pacer is included in the squad. Cameron Bancroft, who was also involved in the ball-tampering incident happened in the series against South Africa is included in the test squad. But, what makes this team strong is the inclusion of David Warner and Steve Smith in the Australian squad.

Tim Paine remains the skipper(captain) of the team. Mathew Wade is also included in the squad as a backup wicket-keeper for Tim Paine.
